Gurukol.com sets cookies from three services: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Google AdSense. This page names exactly which cookies, what each one does, and how to clear or control them. There's no login system, no shopping cart, and no cookie this site sets directly on its own.
Most visitors control these cookies through the banner shown on first visit (Accept/Decline). Visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland instead see Google's own certified consent message, and some US visitors see a US state-privacy opt-out message — both configured directly in Google's advertising tools rather than in this banner. Either path feeds the same underlying consent signal: nothing below loads until a real choice is made, one way or the other.

A cookie is a small text file a website can ask your browser to store, usually to remember something between visits, like a login session, a saved preference, or (as here) an anonymous visitor ID used for analytics or ad measurement.

Ahrefs Web Analytics, also used on this site, sets no cookies at all by its own design. Google Tag Manager, which delivers the Google Analytics tag, doesn't set any cookie of its own either.
Third-Party Services
Full detail on what each analytics/advertising service actually collects lives in our Privacy Policy. In short: Google Analytics and Ahrefs measure traffic; Meta Pixel measures and retargets for our own Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns; Google AdSense serves the ads you see on this site and, where you've consented, personalizes them. Google Fonts, the one other outside service this site loads, uses a font-loading method (Google's CSS2 API) that does not set cookies, per Google's own documentation.
Managing Cookies
Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and AdSense's ad-personalization cookies don't load until you accept the cookie banner (or, in the EEA/UK/CH/regulated US states, Google's own consent message). If you declined and want to change an earlier choice, use the link in the site footer to reopen the banner at any time. Declining, or clearing cookies after previously accepting, takes full effect on your next page load.
Your browser's own privacy or security settings can also block or delete these cookies directly, at any time. Doing so won't affect your ability to read or navigate this site, since nothing here depends on them functioning. For more targeted control: Google offers a dedicated Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and Meta's Ad Preferences page lets you turn off ad personalization directly.
Changes to This Policy
If this site adds or removes a cookie-setting service, this page will be updated first, with a new "Last updated" date and an updated table above, before that change goes live.
